About Me
I am a mother to 3 amazing kids (2 girls and a boy) and a wife to a very supportive husband. I have always had a passion for math and leveraged it in a multitude of finance roles before becoming a stay-at-home mom. As I began homeschooling, I discovered the need to find different teaching and learning styles for each child, especially for reading. Digging into that grew my passion for language arts as I loved seeing those first moments when it finally 'clicks'... There's nothing better than the way a child lights up at the recognition of a letter or when they sound out their first full word, etc. As my fellow homeschool friends saw my passion and creativity unfold, they enlisted me for more and more support with our local co-op. That's when I decided I wanted to support more children and families. At home, we use a combination of indoor and outdoor learning to really enhance the love and passion for what we are exploring. I intend to bring the same fun, loving environment to your kids. We will be learning through play to help your littles become excited about their future and help them achieve the core skills to have a solid foundation.
Our Services
With a focus on early education (TK-5th Grade), I help you and your child lay the building blocks for success by focusing on key fundamentals as well as fostering a love for learning.
Everyone deserves the opportunity to learn in a safe and supportive space. My tutoring services are open to all students, regardless of background, identity, or belief. Instruction is secular and guided by respect, curiosity, and kindness.

1
Reading + Writing Tutoring
I work with children 1:1 or in a group setting to learn the fundamentals of reading and writing or to deepen their understanding. We will assess their current skill level and areas for growth and determine a plan for how I can best support. I am happy to supplement your existing plan/curriculum or provide a framework.
2
Math Tutoring
Similar to reading/writing tutoring, we will work together to understand where you/your child needs the most support. My focus however is on ensuring the student grasps the actual concept and methodology for how to solve problems, even at a young age. And, of course, using a variety of methods to solidify these concepts and have fun doing it!
3
Kindergarten Prep
The goal of kinder prep is to foster functional learning skills as well as support emergent literacy and math skills. We'll use a mix of games and workbooks to master shapes, colors, letter and number recognition, beginning writing and more. This is offered in a group tutoring environment to allow them to broaden their social skills as well.
